Mayur Somani
Entrepreneur first. Author too. A career shaped by manufacturing, software, supply chains, storytelling, and the stubborn belief that ideas should eventually become real things.
Built across worlds.
Mayur Somani is an entrepreneur and author working across manufacturing, supply chain, product development and technology. He serves as a Director at ORM Engineering and ORM USA, where his work connects Indian manufacturing capability with commercial operations and customers in the United States.
He studied Computer Science at Auburn University and later worked in software engineering before moving deeper into business and industrial operations. That technical background remains part of how he approaches companies: systems first, execution second, scale third.
Alongside business, Mayur writes fiction and non-fiction. His novel Ravan in Karn, published by Notion Press in 2025, explores ambition, mythology, power and identity. He is also the author of The Power of Stubbornness.
His public work sits at the intersection of two identities that are deliberately kept together rather than separated: building businesses in the real world, and building stories about the forces that move people.
